I’m really excited to see lots of photos being tagged on the Flat names photo collection on the Facebook group, Dunedin (NZ) named student flats. These flats have been tagged so far this week:
Reading up about Sneaky Feeling’s song Husband House, inspired by a flat named Huband House on Hope Street in Dunedin, back in the 1980s.

“Sneaky Feelings, ‘Husband House’ single also on Positively George St best of. Sneaky Feelings were one of the earliest Dunedin / FN bands. The song is from the point of view of a woman from a flat where the six women were going out with the six guys at a flat called “Huband House”, which, of course was named “Husband House”. Ref.

Went to pick this up from the library today but I’d misread my email and went too late to collect it.
