   Was owned by students Norman and June Kean from 1959 to 1976 , Hosted such luminaries as Dr Eric Geiringer , Barry Crump, Phil Ruston ( prop. Captain Cook ) Chris Laidlaw and Earl Kirton ( A Bs) and many others . One drunken morning ,about 2 a,m, we took turns at shooting a 22 rifle at the University Clock Tower ! never knew if we hit the clock ; no police ever showed up ! Heady days.
